ACP Magazines will not be held liable for any failure of any participating Witchery Man stores to honour or fulfill the special offer. 4. 1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. The competition is open to all residents of Australia except employees of the Promoter, their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion. 2. The promotional period commences August 10, 2009 and closes last mail received September 13, 2009. You can enter the promotion as many times as you like, however each entry needs to be in a separate envelope or via a separate email. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on originality, creative and literary merit. Pandora’s Race For Glamour
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry. 2. The promotion is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents. 3. Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person will be permitted. 4. The promotional period commences August 3, 2009 and closes 11:59pm (AEST) on September 13, 2009. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. 5. Participants may enter the promotion as follows: Log onto www.30daysoffashionandbeauty.com.au in order to register for the Pandora Jewelry event, then follow the links to enter for the chance to be a finalist by telling us in 25 words or less, “Why would you like to compete in the Pandora Race For Glamour?” Please provide your contact details including your name, address and contact phone number. 6. Entries will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit, and originality. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The winners will be notified by email and phoned using contact details provided in their entry. The judging of entries will take place at the Promoter’s premises and will begin on September 14, 2009 at 11:00am. 7. The best five entries as determined by the judges will be deemed finalists and will each receive an invitation to attend the Pandora Race For Glamour. Each finalist will be required to nominate a team mate to compete with them. The race will commence at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), Shop 45, 455 George St, Sydney at 4:30pm on Wednesday September 23 and finish at the same venue after a presentation of winners. Finalists and their team mates will be directed to locations within the QVB to find clues. No travel costs associated with the event are covered in this prize. As part of completing the race, competitors will be directed to create a jewellery look from a range of imagery of Pandora Jewelry pieces. Racers will participate in a social briefing followed by refreshments. The social briefing will include the taking of photographs and video to be used by ACP Magazines and Pandora Jewelry in post-event coverage in print and on the 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty website, www.30daysoffashionandbeauty.com.au. Competitors will be asked to sign a legal release form prior to competing in the event. Any competitors who bring Pandora Jewelry or the competition into disrepute will be disqualified. Creative options at each venue will be equal for all teams and each team will be provided with the same amount of time to complete their tasks. On completing the event, the competitors will be dressed in a glamorous Camilla caftan and have their hair and make-up touched up for the presentation whereby the finalist’s creations will be judged on merit and style by Justine Cullen (editor, Shop Til You Drop), Bronwyn McCahon (editor, Cosmopolitan) and Camilla Franks (fashion designer). Major prize winners will each receive Pandora products to the value of $5000, plus a Camilla caftan to the value of $499. One runner-up team will also be chosen on merit and style, and will each receive Pandora products to the value of $1000. Each member of the three remaining teams will receive a Pandora Jewelry goodie bag valued at $100. 8. Total prize pool is valued at $11,598. Prizes do not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize. These are the responsibility of the winner. 9. Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. 10. Prize valued in Australian dollars. To receive a SHOP Scratch & Win card, entrants must purchase the September 2009 issue of Shop Til You Drop magazine, on sale August 10, 2009. Entrants must then scratch off the silver panel printed on their SHOP Scratch & Win header card, attached to the magazine, to reveal a logo. Entrants must then turn to the promotional page in the September 2009 issue of Shop Til You Drop magazine and compare their logo to the key legend to see which prize they have won. Entrants will win the prize listed on the promotional page that corresponds to the logo on their card.
