And just like that, the wedding is only five weeks away… what!? People aren’t kidding when they say time flies – but luckily for me, my teeth are straightening up at warp speed.

Last time we talked Invisalign, I hadn’t gotten the little bumps on my teeth yet – let me walk you through it. They’re basically like little clear spots that sit on whichever teeth you need for maximum straightening – I have quite a few. I won’t lie, I thought they’d be crazy-obvious but they’re not! On the first day, of course all I saw were the bumps, but I was surprised that no one was mentioning them. (It’s like lash extensions, they seem enormous at first but then look natural from the second day onwards… go figure.) So by day three of having the brackets, it was like they became invisible. In fact, around three months down the track, only two people had commented on them – my mum and a guy who turned out to be a dentist. The reason you have them on your teeth is to really lock your plates in place which means they stay put and look (even more) invisible when you wear them. It’s actually insane how much your teeth can move – I’m only a few plates away from finishing up, but for now, here is a pic of my bracketed teeth (a side shot for the best look at them) just so you can see how small they are. Next on my list is to find the perfect wedding day fragrance and lip colour… I’ll keep you posted.
