There’s more to this sunny paradise than beaches and bars. Stay for the shopping and you’re bound to bump into a designer or two…

Seminyak
From designer finds to wholesale gems, the beachside Balinese town has it all.

C Boutique
Stocking swimwear from international designers such as Missoni, as well as fave Aussie labels like Zimmermann, Anna & Boy and Lover, it’d be hard not to find something you want for the beach here.
Jalan Laksmana Seminyak No. 8, +1 62 361 8853888.

Mist
For the girl who loves prints. The beautiful summery clothing is perfect for a tropical holiday — lucky you’re already on one.
Jalan Raya Seminyak No. 42, +1 62 361 738858.

SKS
SKS, or Simple Koncep Store is a one-stop shop for stylish guys and girls. Inside you’ll find all sorts of clothes, interior design pieces, books and loads of great jewellery.
Jalan Laksmana Seminyak No. 40, +1 62 361 730393.

From
A chic store stocking beautiful jersey basics for you and him, I loved the carefully curated selection of vintage designer frames from the likes of Christian Dior and Nina Ricci. This place is tiny — so tiny there isn’t even a listed number — but definitely worth a visit.
Jalan Raya Seminyak.

Bunga Bunga
This wholesale and retail store is an accessory-lover’s heaven! Amazing studded bags sit alongside leather gladiator sandals and belts. There’s also a great selection of colourful bangles, scarves and bright kaftans perfect for relaxing poolside.
Jalan Raya Seminyak No. 28, +1 62 361 733325.

Getting there
Pacific Blue flies direct to Denpasar from various Aussie capitals. Prices start at $229 for one way from Perth. And if you’ve got the cash stashed, pay an extra $50 and get assigned to the Blue Zone — an exit row seat with a little more leg room. Check flypacificblue.com for more.

Where to stay
Set atop the cliffs overlooking the turquoise waters of Jimbaran Bay, the view from AYANA is as magical as the resort itself. Stay in a luxurious villa for the most opulent experience (each comes with a personal butler!). The seven restaurants serve a variety of international cuisines and with two separate bars and two cafes, you don’t even have to venture outside the gates if you don’t want to. You can even indulge in one of the treatments at the Thermes Marins Bali spa at Spa on the Rocks — situated in the middle of the ocean and accessible only by boardwalk.” Jalan Karang Mas Sejahtera Jimbaran, +1 62 361 702222.
