When she's not creating bridal gowns or frocks for Hollywood's finest, the designer can be found relaxing in her seaside home.

"My style is definitely 'less is more'," says Johnson. "I love the Danish and French beach look, with a very neutral palette."

"My husband and I tend to buy pieces that reflect our childhoods in New Zealand, travels in Europe - particuarly France - and our beachside lifestyle," she adds. "I like collecting vases, especially white ceramic ones. Different floral arrangements need vases of all heights and widths - my cupboard is full of them."
