Variety Op Shop Ball

It’s not like you need a reason to show off your finest second-hand purchases, but we’ve got one for you anyway. Sydney’s Variety Op Shop Ball is the perfect opportunity to pull out grandma’s sequin knit, mum’s faux fur jacket and that velvet dress you found for $15 at a garage sale – all in the name of charity.

Party-goers have been supporting the cause for the last nine years and this year is set to be the biggest yet with up to 500 peeps expected to pack out Town Hall for its 10th anniversary. Celebrities and socialites will pull together their most glam recycled looks and strike a pose on the red carpet to raise funds for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children.

When: 7pm, Saturday, August 18.
Where: Sydney Town Hall.

For more information on purchasing tickets and getting involved, visit the Variety Op Shop Ball website.
