What are some of the trends for glasses and sunglasses at the moment?
For prescription eyewear and fashion frames, oversized ‘80s frames are huge in Europe right now, think hip-hop funk! Aviator style are also beginning to breakthrough, they’re a real statement piece.
For sunglasses, it’s all about taking ourselves back to the ’60s and ’70s, with oversized frames, and thin arms. Square frames with rounded corners are also back in, and tortoiseshell looks fab too.

How do you pick the right frames for your face?
Get someone to take a photo of you wearing the frames so you can have a look. Then try them on, walk away and take five minutes to reflect, before going back to try them on again. lways respect your features – work with what works best for you.

Do you have any words of advice for people who wear glasses?
Enjoy them, especially as frames are the hottest fashion accessory to be seen in right now. And remember, glasses are for life, not just for Christmas!

What projects are you currently working on?
Well, I’m super excited as I’m working on a brand new frame collection for Specsavers, so hopefully I’ll be back in Australia soon to launch them here. I’m also writing my autobiography. I haven’t slept in weeks!
