Last season, he managed to make a farm-yard barn and clogs cool again – and even had Lily Allen singing in the hay. But for autumn/winter 2010/2011, it seems Karl Lagerfeld has been watching re-runs of Titanic, with Chanel models marching around a giant iceberg (brought all the way from Sweden) moored in the middle of Grand Palais for Paris Fashion Week.

Was King Karl making a clever political statement against climate change? Maybe, but we reckon it was just Karl’s clever way of introducing fashion’s Next Big Thing: fur (fake, of course). Whatever it was, there’s only one word to describe the show: cool.
