Crimping her style

We love Tyra Banks in this office. Well, when I say “we” and “in this office”, what I really mean is that fashion assistant Irene and I love Tyra. She’s the whole reason I watch America’s Next Top Model – Tyra, not Irene. I love it most when Tyra gets all indignant when the hair stylist doesn’t cut the model wannabe’s hair the way she asked. It’s brilliant. She’s so sassy, so funny, so hot. When she got her thick blunt bangs cut, I wanted to get them too. Until I realised that it didn’t suit me at all, in any way. And then she stepped out with this strangely crimped ’do and I felt confused. And I’m not anti-crimping, I swear. I think done in the right way, crimped hair can be chic hair – it can! But Tyra, I don’t think this is it… It’s too much, too out, too something. What do you think?

Speaking of the Olympics – okay, we weren’t, but I wanted to bring this up – what’s with the teeny tiny Brazilian cut bikinis the poor, poor Australian beach volleyballers have to wear? What gives? The boys get to wear baggy shirts and shorts while the gals outfits are so shrunken I’m sure they must have had to take a team waxer to Beijing with them. Sorry to be crass. I just need to discuss this. And don’t even try telling me that those women want to wear ’em. I won’t believe you.
