My kids (aged four and six) share a room. It’s quite big but they’re always fighting about the others stuff taking over their ‘side’. Do you have any ideas (other than the old ‘masking tape through the centre of the room’ trick)? 
 

 God bless IKEA. We love the Expedit bookshelf in children’s rooms as it works from both sides. Just give each child alternate boxes to fill and voilà, instant separation (and storage that wasn’t there before). If that doesn’t work, try its Dignitet system, which allows you to hang a curtain down the centre of a room from the ceiling.
